1 操作系统安装
1.1 BIOS设置
➢ Reboot the computer and Press F2 when prompted to enter the BIOS configuration.
➢ Scroll down and Highlight 'Boot Sequence', press 'Enter'.
➢ Use the + and - keys to re-arrange the boot sequence if necessary.
➢ Press space bar to enable/disable each item.
➢ Press ESC to exit back to the Main BIOS setup screen.
➢ Press F10 to save and exit BIOS setup.
1.2 Windows安装
1.2.1 安装步骤
1) Power on the computer and insert the Windows XP Professional installation CD in the CD-ROM drive. Reboot the computer. Press any key to boot from CD.
i. （Windows XP installer loads the installation and startup files and starts
Windows XP.）
2) At the 'Welcome to Setup' press ENTER.
3) Page Down through and read the 'End User License Agreement. When finished press F8.
4) （If an existing OS is installed, you might get another screen that asks if you want to repair an existing install or continue to install a fresh copy of XP. Press 'ESC' to continue (to install a fresh copy of XP).
5) （If partitions already exist they should be deleted before continuing.）
6) Highlight the partition.
7) Press 'D'.
8) Press 'Enter' (System Partition).
9) Press 'L'.
10) Repeat the process for all existing partitions before continuing.
11) Observe that only 'Un-partitioned Space' exists and is highlighted.
12) Press 'C' to create a new partition.
13) With 'Partition New 10000' highlighted, press 'ENTER'.
14) Highlight 'Format the partition using the NTFS file system' and press 'ENTER'.
15) Restart your computer.
i. (During the Windows XP Professional installation process, various
information screens are displayed. Also, the screen may go blank while Windows checks your hardware.)
16) At the 'Regional and Language Options' page click 'NEXT'.
17) At the 'Personalize Your Software' dialog box enter “YI” and “LZSH”and click 'NEXT'.
18) If prompted, at the 'Your Product Key' page enter the product code from your Windows XP CD and click 'NEXT'.
19) For the \"New Installation and Restore CD\" provided with new PCs, use key code = KQDGG-G4V3V-39QWQ-4CB49-BH9JM.
20) At the 'Computer Name and Administrator Password' dialog box enter the name the computer will use on the network and 'deltav' in the 'password' and 'confirm password' dialog box and click 'NEXT'.
21) Setting the time zone as Beijing.
22) Restart computer, remove the compact disk from the CD-ROM drive.
1.2.2 Windows设置
1) Once logged into the Windows XP Professional machine, click 'Control Panel' on the start menu.
2) Click 'Performance and Maintenance'.
3) Click 'Power Options'.
4) On the ‘Power Options Properties’ pop-up window, click the 'Hibernate' tab.
5) Disable (Uncheck) the ‘Enable hibernation’ box.
6) Click 'Apply'.
7) Click 'OK' to close the Power Options Properties window.
8) Click 'Start | Control Panel'.
9) Click ‘Performance and Maintenance'.
10) Select 'Administrative Tools'.
11) Double click the 'Computer Management' icon.
12) On the ‘Computer Management’ pop-up window, point to and click 'Disk Management'.
13) Point to and right click the 'CD-ROM 0' icon.
14) Highlight 'Change Driver Letter and Paths…’.
15) On the pop-up box, click 'Change'.
16) On the ‘Change Drive Letter or Path’ pop-up box, click the drive letter drop down box, highlight and click 'E'.
17) Click 'OK' to activate the change.
18) Click 'Yes' to confirm the new drive letter.
19) On the ‘Computer Management’ screen, point the mouse to drive 'C' icon and right click.
20) Highlight and click 'Properties'.
21) On the ‘Local Disk ( C: ) Properties’ window, type 'DVSys' in the volume label dialog box.
22) Click 'OK'
23) Right click the 'Unallocated' box space on ‘Disk 0’.
24) Highlight and click 'New Partition'.
25) On the 'Welcome to the New Partition Wizard' page click 'Next'.
26) Ensure the 'Primary Partition' radio button is selected and click 'Next'.
27) Observe that the value of the remainder of drive 0 is in the 'Partition Size in MB' field.
28) Click 'Next'.
29) Ensure the 'Assign the following Driver Letter' radio button is selected and that ‘D’ is in the drive letter drop down box..
30) Click ‘Next’.
31) Ensure the ‘Format this partition with the following settings’ radio button is selected and ‘NTFS’ is in the ‘File System’ drop down box.
32) Enter 'DVData' in the Volume Label dialog box.
33) Check the 'Perform a Quick Format' check box.
34) Click 'Next'.
35) Click 'Finish'.
36) Click 'Start' on the Task Bar.
37) Point to and right click 'My Computer'.
38) Point to and click 'Properties'.
39) Click the 'Advanced' tab on the ‘System Properties’ screen.
40) Under the 'Performance' section click 'Settings'. The ‘Performance Options’ window displays.
41) On the 'Visual Effects' tab, click the 'Adjust for Best Performance' radio button.
42) On the 'Performance Options' page click the 'Advanced' tab.
43) On the 'Advanced' tab click 'Change'.
44) On the ‘Virtual Memory’ pop-up window, select and click on Drive ‘D: [DVData]’.
45) Click the 'Custom Size' radio button.
46) In the 'Initial Size (MB)' and 'Maximum Size (MB)' dialog boxes enter 512 MB of memory.
47) For D:\\ partitions, enter 1024MB of physical memory.
48) Click 'Set'.
49) On the 'Virtual Memory' page click 'OK'.
50) On the 'System Control Panel Applet' popup box click 'OK'.
51) On the 'Performance Options' page click 'OK'.
52) On the 'System Properties' page under 'Startup and Recovery' click 'Settings'.
53) In the 'Time to Display Operating Systems' scroll box enter '5'.
54) Click 'OK'.
55) On the 'System Properties' page click the 'Automatic Updates' tab.
56) Disable (uncheck) the 'Keep my computer up to date….' Check box.
57) On the 'System Properties' page click the 'Remote' tab.
58) Disable (uncheck) the 'Allow Remote Assistance invitations…' check box.
59) On the 'System Properties' page click 'OK' to enable the new settings.
60) Leave the 'System Settings Change' pop up box on the desktop.
61) Click 'Start | Control Panel'.
62) Double click the 'User Accounts' Icon.
63) On the ‘User Accounts’ screen, click 'Change the way Users Log on or off'.
64) Disable (uncheck) 'Use the Welcome Screen'. This will also disable 'Use Fast User Switching'.
65) On the 'Select Logon and Logoff Options' page click 'Apply Options'.
66) Click the in the upper right corner of 'User Accounts' page to close it.
67) Click the in the upper right corner of 'Control Panel' page to close it.
68) Press Crtl+Alt+Del to open the Windows Security dialog.
69) Click Change Password... .
70) Verify that Emerson is in the 'User Name' field and enter deltav into the 'New Password' and 'Confirm Password:' fields.
71) Click 'OK'.
72) Click 'OK to close the Change Password dialog.
73) Click 'Cancel' to close the Windows Security dialog and return to the Windows desktop.
74) Click 'Yes' on the 'System Settings Change' dialog to reboot the system.
1.2.3 驱动安装
(一) Installing the Intel Application Accelerator
1) Log on as 'Administrator'.
2) Click 'Start | All Programs | Accessories | Windows Explorer'.
3) Browse to the folder on the Resource CD that contains the application accelerator package (Drivers\\SP\\Gx260\\intel_App_accelerator).
4) Double click 'iaa23_enu.exe'. Follow the on-screen installation instructions.
5) On the 'Setup Complete' dialog, click 'Finish'.
(二) Installing the System Chipset Driver
1) Log on as 'Administrator'.
2) Click 'Start | All Programs | Accessories | Windows Explorer'.
3) Browse to the folder on the Resource CD that contains the System Update for your system.
4) Double click ‘Setup.exe’. Follow the on screen instructions for your System Update.
5) At the ‘Setup’ screen click ‘Next’
6) Click ‘Yes’ to the License Agreement.
7) Click ‘Next’ to the Readme Information.
8) Click Finish to reboot and complete the ‘Setup’ wizard.
(三) Installing the Video Driver
1) Log on as 'Administrator'.
2) Click 'Start | All Programs | Accessories | Windows Explorer'.
3) Browse to the folder on the Resource CD that contains the Video Driver for your system.
4) Double Click 'Setup.exe'. Follow the on screen instructions for your Video Driver.
5) On the 'Setup Complete' box click 'Finish'.
(四) Installing the Audio Driver
1) If not already logged on as 'Administrator', do so now.
2) Click 'Start | All Programs | Accessories | Windows Explorer'.
3) Browse to the folder on the Resource CD that contains the Audio Driver for your system.
4) Double click 'setup.exe'. Follow the on screen instructions to install your
Audio Driver.
5) Ensure the 'Yes, I want to restart my computer now' radio button is selected.
6) Make sure your speakers are connected and turned on.
7) Click 'Finish'.
（Windows XP reboots. You should hear the Windows shutdown .wav file play.
）
(五) Installing the Network (NIC) Driver
1) Log in as 'Administrator'.
2) Click 'Start | All Programs | Accessories | Windows Explorer'.
3) Browse to the folder on the ResourceCD that contains the Network (NIC) driver for your system.
4) Browse below that folder to the 'WinXP' folder (e:\\ \\Drivers\\XP\\GX260\\NIC\\WinXP).
5) Double click 'setup.exe'. Follow the on screen instructions to install your Network Driver.
6) The 'New network device installed' information box will pop up.
7) Point to and click the icon in the system tray indicated by the 'New network device installed' information box.
8) On the 'Network Setup Wizard' page click 'Next'.
9) Read the 'Before you continue' information page and click 'Next' when ready.
10) Click the 'This computer connects to the Internet through another computer...' radio button.
11) Click 'Next'.
12) Click the 'Let me choose....' radio button.
13) Ensure all network interface adapters are checked and click 'Next'.
14) Enter a description of your choosing or leave blank the 'yixun' dialog box.
15) Ensure the computer name you chose previously in the 'op1' dialog box.
16) Click 'Next'.
17) Enter DeltaV Control System workgroup name is in the 'water' dialog box).
18) Click 'Next'.
19) Ensure the information is correct and click 'Next'.
20) Click the 'Just finish the wizard...' radio button.
21) Click 'Next'.
22) Click 'Finish'.
23) Click 'Yes'.
(六) 配置网络
1) Log on as 'Administrator'.
2) Click 'Start | Control Panel'.
3) Click 'Network and Internet Connections'.
4) Click 'Network Connections'.
5) If there is a 'Network Bridge' icon displayed follow these steps: right click on
this icon, click 'Delete' then, click 'Yes' to confirm. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
6) Determine which network interface card will be used for the Plant LAN. Plug and unplug a live network cable into the integrated (on the motherboard) network interface card. Observe the appearance and removal of the Red 'X'.
7) Right click the network interface card identified in the previous step and click 'Rename'.
8) Type 'Plant LAN' into the rename dialog box.
9) Determine which network interface card will be the DeltaV Primary. Plug and unplug a live network cable into the first PCI network interface card. Observe the appearance and removal of the Red 'X'.
10) Right click the network interface card identified in the previous step and click 'Rename'.
11) Type 'DeltaV Primary' into the rename dialog box.
12) Determine which network interface card will be the DeltaV Secondary. Plug and unplug a live network cable into the second PCI network interface card. Observe the appearance and removal of the Red 'X'.
13) Right click the network interface card identified in the previous step and
click 'Rename'.
14) Type 'DeltaV Secondary' into the rename dialog box.
15) Repeat the above process for any additional Network Interface cards in the system.
16) Right click 'DeltaV Secondary' and click 'Properties'.
17) On the 'DeltaV Secondary Properties' page highlight 'Internet Protocol(TCP/IP).
18) Click 'Properties'.
19) Click the 'Use the following IP address' radio button.
20) In the 'IP address' field type the DeltaV Secondary IP address (10.8.0.58).
21) In the 'Subnet Mask' dialog box type '255.254.0.0'.
22) Click 'OK'.
23) Click 'Close'.
24) Right Click 'DeltaV Primary' and click 'Properties'.
25) On the 'DeltaV Primary Properties' page highlight 'Internet Protocol(TCP/IP).
26) Click 'Properties'.
27) Click the 'Use the following IP address' radio button.
28) In the 'IP address' field type the DeltaV Primary IP address (10.4.0.58).
29) In the 'Subnet Mask' dialog box type '255.254.0.0'.
30) Click 'OK'.
31) Click 'Close'.
32) On the 'Network Connections' page click 'Advanced | Advanced Settings'.
33) Ensure the binding order in the 'Connections' window is 'DeltaV Secondary, Plant LAN, DeltaV Primary', respectively.
34) Click 'OK' when the binding order is correct.
35) Click the page to close it.

(七) 设置桌面属性
1) Right Click an empty space on the 'Desktop' point to and click 'Properties'.
2) On the 'Display Properties' page click the 'Settings' tab.
3) Set the 'Screen Resolution' slider to '1024 x 768'.
4) Ensure the 'Color quality' is set to 'Highest (32 bit)'.
5) Click the 'Advanced' button.
6) On the 'Plug and Play Monitor Properties' page click the 'Monitor' tab.
7) Ensure that the 'Screen refresh rate' is '75 Hertz' or greater, depending on your monitors capability.
8) Click 'OK' on the 'Plug and Play Monitor Properties' page.
9) Click 'Yes'.
10) On the 'Display Properties' page click the 'Themes' tab.
11) In the 'Theme' drop down box change the theme to 'Windows Classic'.
12) Click 'OK'.
13) Click 'Start' point to 'All Programs | Accessories | Windows Explorer' hold down the right mouse button, drag to the desktop and release the right mouse button.
14) Point to and click 'Copy Here'.
15) Click 'Start'.
16) Point to 'Control Panel', hold down the right mouse button, drag to the desktop and release the right mouse button.
17) Point to and click 'Create Shortcuts Here'.
18) Right click the Task Bar, click 'Properties'.
19) In the 'Taskbar and Start Menu Properties', on the 'Taskbar' tab, disable (uncheck) 'Keep the Taskbar on top...'.
20) Click the 'Start Menu' tab.
21) Click the 'Classic Start menu' radio button.
22) Click 'OK'.
23) Arrange the desktop icons by right clicking the desktop | Arrange Icons By | Auto Arrange'.
(八) 设置事件浏览
1) Double click 'Shortcut to Control Panel' on the desktop.
2) Click 'Performance and Maintenance'.
3) Click 'Administrative Tools'.
4) Double click 'Event Viewer'.
5) Right click 'Application'.
6) Click 'Properties'.
7) Click the 'Overwrite events as needed' radio button.
8) Click 'OK'.
9) Right click 'Security'.
10) Click 'Properties'.
11) Click the 'Overwrite events as needed' radio button.
12) Click 'OK'.
13) Right click 'System'.
14) Click 'Properties'.
15) Click the 'Overwrite events as needed' radio button.
16) Click 'OK'.
17) Right click 'Application'.
18) Click 'Clear all Events'.
19) Click 'No'.
20) Right click 'Security'.
21) Click 'Clear all Events'.
22) Click 'No'.
23) Right click 'System'.
24) Click 'Clear all Events'.
25) Click 'No'.
26) Click in the upper right hand corner of 'Event Viewer' to close it.
27) Click in the upper right hand corner of 'Administrative Tools' to close it.
28) Click 'Start | Turn off Computer'.
29) Click 'Restart'.
30) Click 'OK'.
31) Windows XP reboots.
32) Log on as 'Administrator'.
2 DeltaV安装
2.1 软件安装
1) Export “Devdata.cfg”file from DeltaV Plus station.
2) Copy file “Devdata.cfg” from Plus station to operator station desktop.
3) Before setup DeltaV system ,first check the version of DeltaV setup CD and confirm it is consistency with the controller version.
4) Insert the 1# setup CD and setup with system prompts. Attention here, you
should select Plus station when system prompt shows the dialogue box.
2.2 操作站配置
1) Click start>DeltaV>Installation>DeltaV Workstation Configuration.
2) Click next button and select No.2 item (professional/operator/Application/base)
3) Import “Devdata.cfg” from operator station desktop.
4) Wait until it finished by itself.
5) Create a account which name is same as the name of DeltaV operation station name.
6) Download the operation station from Plus station. The content includes operation and setup data.
7) Restart the computer.
2.3 运行环境设置
In the DeltaV Operate (Configure) interface, click file and select preference. Disable the hotkey.
