Supporting documents

Before you travel

This page contains information about the documents that you should bring with you when you travel to the UK, to show our officers at the UK border.

The information on this page is for people who are not British citizens or already settled in the UK.

We have produced guidance on the documents that you should bring with you, but you must also read the pages of this website that describe the entry requirements for your immigration category. You will find these pages in the Visas and immigration section, or the European nationals section for EEA family permits.
