摘要：An information processing system (10) comprising a plurality of input terminals(S) adapted to receive a plurality of input signals, a plurality of output terminals (R)adapted to present a plurality of output responses, and a plurality of data transfermembers (T). Each data transfer member (T) couples one of the input terminals with one
of the output terminals and provides a transfer of data from that one input terminal tothat one output terminal in dependence upon a variable data transfer function. Thesystem further comprises optical control means (12) connected to the data transfermembers (T) to control the data transfer functions thereof.
