摘要：A transmitter-receiver whose overall size can be reduced by decreasing areasoccupied by a bend portion and a coupler portion of a nonradiative dielectric (NRD)waveguide. The size is not restricted by the radius of curvature and the bending angle ofthe bend portion. In this transmitter- receiver, the NRD waveguide is adapted so thatwaves are transmitted in a single mode, namely, LSM01 mode. Further, an oscillator, anisolator, a mixer and a coupler are placed in the rear of a dielectric lens. Thus, thetransmitter-receiver fits within the size of the antenna.
