摘要：The invention relates to a device and a method for measuring the power ofelectromagnetic signals of a transmitter device, in particular for measuring the power ofGMS signals discretely over time. The device according to the invention uses a plurality of
detectors which are connected in parallel, in particular with different amplificationfactors, in order to cover a large dynamic range. In a series of iterative preliminary powermeasurements, the detector which is optimum for the signal level is determined using anevaluation circuit. Said detector carries out a precise main power measurement,
preferably with a predefined bit sequence which can be used to regulate the transmissionpower of the transmitter device. With one embodiment of the invention, a variation rangeof the output power of the transmitter device of ± 0.5 dB has been achieved. The deviceis particularly cost-effective and stable with respect to temperature.
