【教学目标】

词汇:复习下列词语

名词:piano, tennis, club, term, board,monitor, ball, team, score, kite, game 动词:ride, worry, teach, play,promise, tidy, fly, swim, start 形容词:all,fast, fit, best, tidy, beautiful, ready, sure 副词:then,fast, just 代词:everybody

短语:play the piano, play table tennis, ride a bike, worry about, would like, speak Chinese well, get on well with, do cleaning, promise to do, do well at school, work hard, get the best score, make our classroom beautiful, between lessons, be ready to do, be good at, fit and healthy, be sure 语法: 情态动词can表示能力的肯定、否定与疑问形式。

【教学重难点】

情态动词can表示能力的肯定、否定与疑问形式。

【课时安排】1课时 【教学过程】

Step 1 :Warming-up

Look at the pictures and make the sentences with can or can’t 1. play football They can play football I can’t play football. 2. play basketball

James can play basketball very well. My brother can’t play basketball . 3. Sun Yang can swim. My sister can’t swim. 4. ride a bike

Wang Zhen can ride a bike. The man can’t ride a bike. 5. play the piano

Lang Lang can play the piano well. Li Yundi can play the piano well, too.

Step 2 :Important phrases

Let the students read the passage ,and remember the important phrases, check each

other .

1. play the piano, 2. play table tennis, 3. ride a bike,

4. worry about, 5.would like, 6. speak Chinese well, 7. get on well with, 8.do cleaning, 9. promise to do, 10. do well at school, 11.work hard, 12. get the best score,

13.make our classroom beautiful, 14. between lessons, 15. be ready to do, 16. be good at, 17.fit and healthy, 18. be sure

Step 3 : Important sentences

Let the students read the passage ,and remember the important sentences ,check each

other .

1. Can you cook ?

2. I’d like to be the class monitor. 3. I get on well with everyone. 4. I can run really fast. 5. She can dance really well . 6. We can teach you Chinese ! 7. I can play the piano.

Step 4: Summary

(1) I / You/ He/ She /They /We can /can’t + 动词原形 (2) Can you/ he/ she/ they …? (3) I can’t …, but I can …?

Step 5: Practice

Complete the sentences with can or can’t. 1. --- _________ you swim?

--- Yes, but I _________ swim well. 2. --- Are you coming with us? --- Sorry, I _______ ride a bike.

3. --- What _______ the new cleaning monitor do for us? --- He _______ make our classroom tidy. 4. --- ________ you play the piano for us?

--- Sorry, I _______ play the piano, but I _______ sing for you.

Step 6 : Make a poster

1. Show the pictures ,talk about how to make a poster . 2. Making a poster for a club

Work in groups. Talk about a new school club.  Choose a name for the club.

 Choose a day and time for the club.  Ask people to join the club.
