摘要：An automatic document conveying device (4) is applied to an image processor(2) that has a transparent plate. The automatic document conveying device (4) can conveya continuous document (84) that has folding lines (86) extending in the direction of widthat stated intervals in the conveying direction and feed holes formed in both side edgesthereof at stated intervals in the conveying direction. The automatic document conveyingdevice (4) comprises a continuous document placing means (130) on which will be placedthe continuous document (84) in a condition where it is folded along the folding lines(86), a conveying means for conveying the continuous document (84) passing on thetransparent plate of the image processor, and a continuous document receiving meansfor receiving the continuous document conveyed passing on the transparent plate. Theconveying means conveys the continuous document (84) from the continuous documentplacing means (130) passing the transparent plate while unfolding it along the foldinglines and further conveys it onto the continuous document receiving means while againfolding it along the folding lines. The conveying means includes a conveyer belt

mechanism, pin tractor mechanisms, and a conveyance control means that controls theoperations of these conveyer belt mechanism and pin tractor mechanisms.
