摘要：A core/wrap yarn is formed on a conventional ring-spinning yarn system byincluding a gripper nip immediately downstream from and closely adjacent to the frontroller nip of the system; feeding a core strand and at least one wrap stand on each sideof the core strand from the front roller nip to the gripper nip, wherein the wrap strandsare spaced from the core strand at the front roller nip and converge with the core strandin the gripper nip to wrap around the core strand in the gripper nip so as to formwrapped yarn which then is passed through a ring traveler on to the wind-up system.
