摘要：The method involves inducing a secondary magnetic field in a component wall(5) for determining the thickness of the component wall by detection of one of thevariables influencing the magnetic field. Ferromagnetic material is applied on a side (6) ofthe wall that faces a hollow space (3) or inserted in the hollow space before thedetection of the variable. The Ferro magnetic material is selected from a groupconsisting of Ferromagnetic metal, nickel or cobalt, Ferromagnetic alloy orFerromagnetic ceramic material, fluid wax (40) and fluid plastic.
