Teaching aims:

Develop the ability of writing of students Teaching contents:

Write a job application according to the requirement of the job advertisement . Let the students grasp the way of writing a job application letter :Emotion aims :

Help the students train their awareness of love country and contributions to people .as long as they work hard they can find a job suitable for they. :Teaching important:

Teach students how to write a job application letter Teaching difficult points;

Write personal experience according to the requirement of the job advertisement . Teaching methods

Task—based learning activity—based teaching ( class work group work pair work individual work) stimulating teaching SEVEN; Teaching aids

Point reading pen teaching book blackboard multi-media

Teaching procedures; Step one :lead-in

One:Teaching some new words by using point reading pen and ask students to read these words by themselves until they can read and listen to them..

Two:first,ask students to read the advertisements on students’books .second ,read the letter on their books ,at last ,ask students to find what job the author wants to hunt for.

Step two;new lesson

T:After you graduate from senior high school ,if you don't want to ask your parents for money .what are you going to do ? How do you get money? Ss:We will …..

T:Today we will learn how to write a job application letter One :write your address and date

The address and date are often on the right top of the letter,what’s more ,the address is put before the date Two :calling

Begin like this :Dear Sir or Madam Three :inscribing

Write yours/sincerely at the first line and write real name at the second line on the right or left of the letter.

Four :give some useful sentences to students and ask them to recite them Five : pay attention to the structures

:paragraph one :which job you are interested in Middle paragraphs(contents):introduce yourself

1) How old are you ? 2)when you can work . 3)experience you have or don’t have 4)your personality Two:

Step three :practice

Write a letter of a job application according to the advertisements on their book Step four :grade the compositions

Let ss give comments about the compositions and grade the compositions then find mistakes and correct them

Step Five :summarize the whole lesson Step Eight:Homework

write another composition according to what you learned today .
