摘要：A rotary pump comprises a chamber having an inlet port and an outlet port, arotor within the chamber, one or more rollers carried by the rotor to rotate therewith,and a closed-loop belt tightly enclosing under tension the rotor and rollers. As the rotoris rotated, the rollers move along the belt and continuously press it against the chamberwall as each roller moves from inlet port to outlet port, the belt tension maintainingintermediate free runs of the belt in substantially straight lines spaced from the chamberwall.
