    catch是非延续性动词,它的现在完成时不能与表示一段时间的状语连用。

    他被雨淋着了。

    He was caught in the rain.

    表示人遇雨、雷雨、大风等时, catch一般用于被动结构,并用介词in,不用by。

    我撞见那小偷在偷我的电视机。

    I caught the thief to steal my television set.

    I caught the thief stealing my television set.

    当表示“碰上”“撞上某人正做某事”时, catch后须跟现在分词作宾语补足语。
